My Mum used to travel along here on the Blue Pullman! A tunnel shaped tunnel! No more of that Midland nonsense! The usual hazards. Ah! Spoke to soon. Back to the inclined stone walls toped with a brick arch again. These are nice tunnels. I would recommend the walk to anyone. I suspect the route is very achievable for people in wheelchairs as well.

I think it is the law that all tunnels have junk in the portals. Wherever you go, it's there: hay bails, drainage pipes, sheep! You name it... Oh, and traffic cones of course. The ungated Chee Tor No.2 can be seen. The view is usually the other way, from inside No.2 looking back to No.1. Nice to do it this way. A customer. Quick, put your hard hat on. Over the viaduct to Chee Tor No.2.
