It's in a bleedin' great hole in a field! The approach cutting is filled in apart from the last 50yds. It has blended well over the years so the original alignment is barely discernible. So it really is just a big hole in a field with a tunnel in. Worth a visit by those of you who are photography oriented ‘cos there are several small masonry collapses and the atmosphere is mainly dry so good clear shots are possible. |
Some damp in the atmosphere for the first 50yds, nice and dry after that. |
