Another typical West Yorkshire GN portal. It's in a bleedin' great hole in a field! The approach cutting is filled in apart from the last 50yds. It has blended well over the years so the original alignment is barely discernible. So it really is just a big hole in a field with a tunnel in. Worth a visit by those of you who are photography oriented ‘cos there are several small masonry collapses and the atmosphere is mainly dry so good clear shots are possible. Some damp in the atmosphere for the first 50yds, nice and dry after that.
