Heading towards the north portal - it looks accessible! Its always exciting - will I be able to get in or will it be sealed?? Close up - don't even need to climb over, they have very kindly left a huge opening big enough for a fat bloke! The door was ripped off years ago. The view from just inside. Apologies for poor pics. I was still in my 'basic pic for personal record only' period before I decided to set up this site.

Looking back from 50yds in. The tunnel is curved ('S' shaped) and there is a point where neither portal can be seen. Looking back to the north portal around the curve.

These tunnels have perpendicular offshoots to the cliff face - presumably used during construction. Looking ahead to the southern portal, the other curve can be seen. Inside the south portal.
